"I don't have time..."
This excuse holds A LOT of people back from reaching their potential... And it's totally understandable: Balancing work or studies, family commitments, having a social life - AND trying to find time to train... It can be tough. But here's the truth, friend: There are people out there who are WAY busier than you, but still find or MAKE time for their fitness, health & training. These people are no different to you. So don't let yourself off the hook so easy. Rather than saying: "I don't have time..." Take back some control over your life and say: "I am determined to find or make time for my health, fitness & training goals."
"I can't afford it"
Alcohol, fast-food & Starbucks coffees... The average adult will happily spend £100+ each month on these things... That do nothing but provide momentary sensations... Which are gone in an instant... ...and ultimately just leave you less healthy, less energised & more addicted than you were before. But this same individual - when presented with the opportunity to make a long-term, meaningful transformation... That will leave them healthier, more energised & more confident in themselves... For less than the price of a coffee a day... Comes up with the excuse: "I can't afford it...". So, MOST of the time, it's a question of what you VALUE - rather than what you can afford. Do yourself a favour, and value your own health, fitness & training goals as much as a Starbucks coffee.
"I have tried before, it has never worked"
So you've tried to make a change with your fitness in the past and failed... Maybe you've tried several times... But you always seem to wind up back where you started. Let me give you some advice: We call it a fitness JOURNEY for a reason. It takes time - and there are plenty of ups and downs. But the past does not equal the future. Imagine if we used this same attitude in other parts of life: "I didn't get that job, so I guess having a job isn't for me"... "That relationship didn't work out - guess I'll die alone"... Ridiculous, right? You failed in the past. So what?! Get up and try again. I guarantee you there are people who had FAR worse starting points than you... Who still managed to turn it around & transform their fitness. So, whatever your journey's been like up to this point... We'll be with you for the next steps.
